These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and PlumeCV (“PlumeCV,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) covering your use of plumecv.com and the PlumeCV resume tailoring service (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account, for all activity that occurs under it, and for the accuracy of the information you provide. You must notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
PlumeCV helps you analyze, tailor, and export resumes and related documents using AI. Free features include resume analysis and job match scoring. Pro features include full resume tailoring, cover letters, company answers, and formatted PDF export, available on a paid subscription.
You retain all rights to the resumes, job descriptions, and other content you submit (“Your Content”). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, transmit, and display Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service for you, including sending it to third-party AI providers to generate outputs on your behalf. We do not claim ownership of Your Content and we do not use it to train third-party foundation models.
The Service generates outputs using large language models. AI outputs can be inaccurate, incomplete, or biased. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and deciding whether to use any output. PlumeCV does not guarantee interviews, offers, or any employment outcome.

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by PlumeCV and is protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your personal or internal business use.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably believe your use poses a risk to the Service or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will do so.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PLUMECV AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless PlumeCV from any claims, damages, and expenses arising from your use of the Service, Your Content, or your violation of these Terms.
We may modify or discontinue features of the Service at any time. We may update these Terms by posting the updated version on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
